A Study of the Divine Service
Why do we do what we do in our worship service? It can be easy to simply go through the motions without giving our words and actions a second thought. In this study, we will gain a biblical and historical understanding of the parts of the Divine Service. Lunch is provided.

That You May Believe
God's Word is our life and salvation. The Scriptures are given "so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name." (John 20:31) This study is a deep dive into the writing, transmission, and interpretation of the Biblical documents. Where did the manuscripts come from? Are they reliable? Why is the canon comprised of these books and not others? How do we properly interpret these texts? We will discuss all of these questions and more. Supper is provided.

The church at Corinth was incredibly similar to our own context. They were in a culture that was very concerned with success, wealth, and status; a culture that was very difficult to resist at times for the Christians in Corinth. The Apostle Paul writes to them to address problems going on in the church, at to encourage them to continue receiving the gifts of God in Christ, foolish though they may seem. Join us for this verse-by-verse study of 1 Corinthians. Supper is not provided.
