Bible Studies

  • Sundays @ 11:30

    Luther’s Large Catechism provides helpful instruction in the basics of the Christian Faith. Join us following Divine Service on Sunday for Lunch and Bible study. Books are provided.

  • Thursdays @ 7:00 pm

    In an imaginary collection of correspondence between a novice demon and his supervisor, C.S. Lewis invites us to consider the various ways that Satan and his demons are at work in the world around us. Books are provided!

  • Wednesdays @ 6:00 pm

    John the Evangelist wrote one of the Gospels and the famous book of Revelation. He also wrote three epistles, or letters, and his first one teaches us of the Christian life centered on Christ. Join us at 6:00 for supper and Bible study.

Pastor Dan Suelzle

Rev. Dan Suelzle began serving at Wittenberg Chapel in September 2017. He grew up in Hazen, ND, and studied vocal performance at UND for a year and a half before transferring to Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska, where he earned a degree in psychology and did his pre-seminary studies.

​Rev. Suelzle received an M. Div. from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis in 2011. His first call was to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Eugene, Oregon, where he served for six years before being called to Wittenberg. He lives in Grand Forks with his wife and four children.
